Hello again, tis me, Sharon. Now recently over on Facebook and indeed here, I continue to receive many questions about this and that, how to paint this, where to buy that, how to sew this and what about the damp that? I only have so many hours in the day and my family and caravans fill them up nicely. I have given a few tips on here and answered a few more questions along the way but I have been thinking it was about time I should cram it all into a book? Nothing too posh just my usual layman's way with lots of lovely pictures too. I have had a very warm response to my idea so have decided to crack on and get stuck in! I plan to just give those of you doing it yourself some tips to help you on your way and to keep as a little reference and reminder of all the hard work you have put in to your little home from home that you are very proud of and spend many happy holidays in!
So, I better get on with it. I have started to take lots of good pictures (I hope) and as my current van is for sale at the moment and she is on Ebay interested folk can come here to check out lots more lovely pics of her.
This of course is the little kitchen!
Cosy "rear" bed made up! This even has a bunk (hammock) that can fit across the bed to make it a 5 berth! The poles below go through 2 slots on the hammock (I am cleaning it today)
This is where the bunk is supported above the rear double.
Now then, the little "loo" with a little light and of course lacy curtain!
The front "bed"
Cosy with the spotlights on!
...... Meanwhile, next morning it turns into this!
And.. when the kids beds are away the rear turns into this!
Perfect for colouring in!
So, there you have it, hope the pictures are improving in quality and if you would like to, please leave a comment about what you think the book should cover then please do! Happy days!
