Well hello there! I have had a very lazy time of late! It has been half term and I have had a visit from my Sister and her two munchkins.... Me and DB had a little me time in Manchester, a cheap overnight stay and some Christmas shopping. I expect some of you will have been doing the same? When the clocks change in old Blighty its like somebody turned the lights off!!!! My friend the heater will be busy in Elsie this week I can tell you.
Elsie seams to be turning into a beach hut! The stripes are very different to my normal choice of fabric (as you already know) However I am embracing them and have been looking at some pictures of beach huts for inspiration....

I am rather liking this are you?

Mmmm beach hut style, with a bit of vintage styling thrown in?
I have "borrowed" these images from a beautiful site called Inspirationsdeco.blogspot.co.uk Its a French blog that I have recently found and haven't had enough time to scroll through all of the lovely images yet but I can't wait!
I paid a visit to Ikea yesterday to buy Elsie's lighting..
And I also made her a bit of bunting!..
Well she is turning a little "beachy" so I thought she needed a little bit of bunting!
Now should I add a chandelier?
Hoping to have some more pictures of Elsie's interior later this week, I have to begin her curtains today and scrub her fridge!
Have a nice day

I especially love the first image. Yeah, a chandelier would be great. :)
ReplyDeleteA beach hut, vintage caravan, a perfect combination! :)
ReplyDeleteThat second photo is heaven. I think a beach hut look is perfect as alot of these lovely caravans spend much of their holidays by the seaside. Can't wait for more photos. Elaina xo
